To forward calls to an external number on CenturyLink or Lumen, you can try these steps:
- Listen for a dial tone, then press 72
- Listen for a stutter dial tone followed by a regular dial tone
- Dial the number you want your calls forwarded to
- Answer the call on the other phone number to activate call forwarding
- Hang up when the call is answered by a person or voicemail
